She has led teams of planners, creatives and marketers, and loves collaborating with internal stakeholders and partner suppliers on innovation and research projects.

She is passionate about sports, health and fitness marketing and is co-author of the book, Secrets of Successful Sports CEO's Revealed.

Pam’s critical curiosity and strategic nous combined with an agile, relationship focused approach makes her the perfect strategic partner for your next brand project.

Shem Hunter
Creative Strategist

Shem has spent more than two decades in the advertising and design industries across Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, the USA and Asia.

His expertise spans Design & Creative Direction, Brand & Identity Development, Retail Advertising, Shopper Marketing, Packaging and NPD.

Along the way he’s led work for the likes of FIFA, KFC, SPAR, Wrigley, Griffin’s, Frucor Suntory, Sara Lee, Beiersdorf, Goodman Fielder & many more.

Shem’s candid, strategic approach to design consistently uncovers client's true pain-points quickly, ensuring resource is dedicated to solving the real creative challenge from the get-go.

Amar Basra
Research Specialist

With a research career spanning more than 20 years, Amar is experienced in planning and delivering a range of customer and employee research using qualitative and quantitative methodology. 

Amar has worked as a mixed methods researcher across academic and government departments, think tanks and agency side on national and global accounts which include Pfizer, Bain & Co, Seven Seas, CBA, Estee Lauder, Beds 'n Dreams and Inghams.

Her research project management includes insight discovery, consumer and employer brand development, comms/product development, CX insights, CX and EX journey mapping and new product development.

Kiah Bettison
Research Assistant

Kiah brings a fresh perspective to OYA, with her background in digital marketing, social media management and public relations.

As our research assistant, she quickly adapted to the role, skilfully handling data analysis, report generation and project management tasks, which are the essential building blocks of our insights-driven approach.

Kiah’s qualifications and experience add depth to our team, blending modern marketing techniques with meticulous research. Her enthusiasm for learning and passion for surfing mirror her commitment to riding the waves of market research, making her a dynamic and valuable member of the OYA team.
